SAPULPA PUBLIC SCHOOLS - April 2, 2018 is a day that will be remembered for a long time in Oklahoma.

School districts across the state's 77 counties closed their doors allowing educators to descend on Oklahoma City to have their voices heard in an effort to increase funding for public education.

Approximately 200 teachers and staff from Sapulpa left early Monday morning to join the walk-out. Three buses and numerous cars-loads of people braved the frigid temperatures to advocate for students.
