Name: Dina Marie Contractor-Janitz
Kids: Eryca Rose Contractor-Janitz - 17yrs old and will graduate with a 4.5 gpa this May. She will be attending Northeastern Oklahoma (NEO) in the fall of 2018. Paige Marie Contractor-Janitz - 15 years old and currently a freshman at the junior high. She is a Ping Ping and also teaches dance. Paige currently has a 4.154 gpa.
Husband: Mikel Janitz - Engineer - I went to high school with him and hated him with a passion! Thank god he cleaned up well!
Why did you become a teacher?: I became a teacher because it fit my lifestyle raising children. I had been a mental health specialist before becoming a teacher. I started off teaching SPED math, and moved to Geography.
What were you like in Middle School? I was awkward in middle school. I went to Carver Middle School because I was identified as gifted and then on to Washington High School where I graduated 14th out of 400 students.
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? I would eat Indian food the rest of my life if it didn’t give me such bad heartburn! But you know there is a pill for that!
What is the most annoying sound in the world? The most annoying sounds to me are repetitive sounds like tap,tap, tap. And no extra beat in there…...what good is that?
What is your spirit animal? Probably a deer for my spirit animal! I like their freedom of movement!
