(SPS) - As the weather kicked up outside on Saturday, the Sapulpa Chieftains eSports team stormed its way through the Oklahoma eSports League Tournament.
The tourney was held at the UMAC at Union Public Schools with teams competing in League of Legends, Rocket League, Overwatch, Madden, and Super Smash Bros.
Sapulpa High School joined Union, Verdigris and students from various schools in the competition. There were approximately 100-150 students competing.
Despite taking shelter because of severe weather, the team maintained its focus and walked away with the overall top finish.
