Purchasing Insurance

The Sapulpa Public Schools’ Student Chromebook Insurance Program has been established to give parents and students the ability to purchase insurance and provide Chrome Depot support for the Chromebooks. If purchased, the insurance package will cover the repair or replacement costs of the Chromebook and charge cord. The cost for protection is only $25 and coverage lasts for one year.

The insurance program is voluntary, but families are highly encouraged to participate. You may purchase insurance (cash or check) at the scheduled check out time or by credit card using your child’s SPS MySchoolBucks account: MySchoolBucks

Please keep in mind that if insurance is not purchased at the time of device acceptance, parents/guardians are responsible for the full cost of any repair or replacement of all damage to or loss of the Chromebook and charge cord. Please read the details in the SPS Chromebook Handbook to learn more about the various costs.  Acts of intentional damage will NOT be covered by the insurance.

Remember, no student, under the age of 18, will be issued a device without a parent/guardian signature on the SPS Chromebook Insurance Agreement and the Student Chromebook Agreement documents.
