(SPS) -- Sapulpa Public Schools welcomed nearly 60 new teachers to the district for the 2022-23 school year.
New Teacher Orientation took place in early August.
The three-day orientation features a walk-through of the learning management system, Google Suite, Chromebooks, and much more as the new staff members prepared for their new classes.
Sapulpa Public Schools added 21 brand new positions including additional elementary and secondary teachers, an assistant band director, reading interventionists, elementary counselors, an assistant special education director, an assistant transportation director, a mental health coordinator, two behavior specialists and a director of safety and security.
